Centor Win the Business Sustainability / Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative of the Year Award at the 2018 British Insurance Awards

Last night, at the British Insurance Awards, Centor was recognised for its corporate social responsibility efforts over the last year. This is a proud moment for everyone at Centor who are passionate about our mission to be socially responsible. Over the years we have built longstanding links with charities, both large and small, supporting them however we can.

B-Corp Certified

In 2017 Centor became the first insurance broker to become B-Corp certified. Our commitment to our employees, and to wider society, is part of our fundamental business philosophy and so becoming B-Corp certified was the perfect fit. With their help, we have been able to refine our approach to each of the following CSR strands:-

Community – volunteering, giving, donating and teaching.
Environment – energy consumption, sustainable travel, green procurement.
Workplace – diversity, equal opportunities, work-life balance, fair reward.
Marketplace – ethical procurement, supporting local business and supplier diversity.
