Children in Need Fundraising Day

On the 14^th November 2014, Centor held a fundraising day on behalf of BBC’s Children in Need. It is a long standing tradition of the company to organise an action packed day to raise money for this great charity, and we hoped to raise more money than ever.

The day got each and every member of staff involved with various games, auctions and raffles, as well as the very amusing fancy dress element. The whole organisation, bar the four directors, took part in choosing the “Bosses” fancy dress outfits for the day. This gives the employees great satisfaction through what tends to a “ritual humiliation” of the Directors with past themes including; The Village People, Little Britain and this year’s Moulin Rouge attire. Thanks to the generosity of Centor’s clients, suppliers, insurers and other friends the day proved to be a huge success, exceeding our target amount and raising over £6,000. This will go towards changing the lives of disadvantaged children across the UK.
