Centor is on a high after raising nearly £40,000 at its inaugural Charity Ball fundraising event last week.

The ball, held at Gibson Hall last Thursday, raised funds for three charities: Alzheimer’s Research UK, Cystic Fibrosis Trust and Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.

Representatives from all three charities attended, alongside Centor clients, insurers, suppliers and staff, who enjoyed a three-course meal, a band, a DJ, and a live auction coordinated by MC Jonny Gould.

CEO Neil Walton is pleased with how the event went.

“We are so proud to have surpassed our fundraising target,” he says.

“We would like to thank everyone who attended for making it such a great night, and everyone who supported or contributed to the event in some way. We couldn’t have done it without you.’

Jessica Hiscocks, Regional Fundraising Officer at Alzheimer’s Research UK, says: “We’re so grateful to Centor for supporting Alzheimer’s Research UK. Fantastic fundraising efforts like this will help us to defeat dementia sooner.”

The money raised will be split equally between the three charities.
