WH Smith the latest victim of a cyber attack
The newsagent, WH Smith are the latest high profile company to fall victim to the work of threat actors. Company data was accessed illegally and included staff’s personal data.
This will not come as a surprise to many, as the Royal Mail also fell foul to an attack in January, and the Government citing that two in five UK businesses had reported cybersecurity breaches or attacks in the previous 12 months. It is something echoed in the increasing rise of claims that our in-house claims department are seeing.
