Centor supports Guide Dogs

Two years ago, Centor decided to sponsor a six-week-old guide dog puppy named Alfie.

Alfie has since grown from a tiny puppy who loves playing, to a fully qualified guide dog who is making a huge difference in his new owner’s life. Watching him develop through regular ‘Pupdates’ from the charity has been highly rewarding for everyone at Centor.

We wish both Alfie and his owner Michael a happy life together.

Guide Dogs

Many blind and short-sighted people struggle to leave the house due to lack of confidence or fear. A guide dog is a safe and effective way for them to get about independently. It takes two years and costs nearly £45,000 to train a guide dog.

Centor continues to support Guide Dogs and the great work that they do and we are pleased to announce that we are sponsoring a beautiful Golden Retriever puppy named Ruby. Much like Alfie, we cannot wait to see Ruby develop over the next two years as she goes through her Guide Dog training.
