Centor Donate £25,000 to Royal British Legion Memorial Garden Fundraising Appeal

RBLI

Centor’s CEO Neil Walton has generously donated £25,000 to the fundraising appeal for the restoration of the Memorial Garden in The Royal British Legion Village, Aylesford. The project due to start in 2014 to coincide with the Commemoration of the start of the First World War, will include a bandstand, a small parade ground with flagpole and amphitheatre seating as well as further seating under pergolas. The existing Memorial Garden will stay as the focal point for Remembrance with the new garden to be enjoyed all year round by those who live, work and visit the Village

Royal British Legion Industries was established in 1919 to provide treatment; training and support to service personnel returning from the Great War and for almost 100 years RBLI have remained true to this purpose and are still providing the same service to the Armed Forces Community.

Neil Walton proudly presented the cheque to Stephen Kingsman Vice Chairman of RBLI and Chairman of the Project committee for the Memorial Garden on Tuesday 17th December 2013.
