2020 was the warmest year in Europe according to the Met Office
The Met Office’s recent report shows that temperatures are increasing in Europe, and subsequent high values of water vapour over the oceans. This made 2020 Europe’s warmest year on record by a considerable amount. In 2020, Europe was 1.9°C above the long-term average of 1981-2010.
