Who do I contact in the event of a claim?

In the event that you need to make a claim simply contact us on 0207 330 8716 and we will talk you through the whole process. It is our job to make claims as simple and hassle free for you as possible.

In the event that an emergency arises such as a fire or water damage outside of business hours, you should take whatever action is necessary in order to minimise the amount of damage. Don’t worry about incurring emergency costs – the insurance company would want you to spend a reasonable amount of money (for example on emergency contractors to fix pipes or to temporarily cover an exposed roof) in order to prevent further more serious damage occurring. By acting as a “prudent uninsured”, you cannot fail to act in both yours and your insurer’s best interests and they would not penalize you for that.

All that your insurer would ask is that you retain any damaged property for inspection, and do not undertake permanent repairs before they have had chance to inspect damage. If this is unavoidable, take photographs as these will help support your claim.
