Centor are recognised by the Great Places to Work Institute

Centor have been recognised by the Great Places to Work Institute for the second year running in the Best Small Workplace category. This award recognises the hard work that has gone into making Centor such a compelling place to work.

As well as being listed in the top ten of the Best Small Workplaces, Centor were also ranked first for quality of life and as the third most welcoming small workplace.

The Great Place to Work Institute is a global research and management consultancy with operations in 44 countries and strong expertise in workplace transformation. Their mission is to improve society by creating better workplaces. The global Best Workplaces Programme is the world’s largest people excellence programme, with over 3,800 organisations and 1.5 million employees taking place across the globe. A great place to work is where the employees "Trust the people they work for, have pride in what they do, and enjoy the people they work with".

Two thirds of the score which determines a place in the list comes from an anonymous survey of the workforce, ensuring that success is based firmly on the voice of employees. The remaining score element comes from the Culture Audit, which is an analysis of the value system, policies and practices that support organisational culture.

Being named in the top ten best small workplaces in the UK is recognition of Centor’s longstanding commitment to the welfare of its employees. We hope to develop this commitment with new initiates in the years to come.
