Centor are delighted to announce that following a recent re-assessment, we have been accredited with Silver Investors in People status.

This post recognition review was conducted following the recent introduction of the new Investors in People Single Framework. The new Framework provides for additional recognition for organisations that meet some or all of the 196 evidence requirements, 157 of which go beyond the basic Investors in People Standard.

Centor took best advantage of the new approach by requesting a review against the basic 39 evidence requirements of the Investors in People Standard and a further 117 additional evidence requirements, making a total of 156.

The additional evidence requirements were chosen to confirm existing good practice and to identify opportunities for development on which to build a road map to achieve recognition as a ‘Gold’ Investors in People organisation in the future.

CEO Neil Walton said:-

“I am extremely proud to head up an organisation that puts so much effort in treating its staff the right way. We involve them in all of our decision making and empower them to make a difference for the common good. Our faith in them has made this possible and to have achieved Silver status first time round is very humbling.

The Investors in People model gives a fantastic framework on which to build a successful business and we are proud to have been recognised. We are looking forward to working with our assessor in order to make progress towards Gold accreditation in the coming years”.
