Roger has over 40 years experience in the insurance industry, initially as an underwriter for Norwich Union but for the majority of the time with a number of leading broking houses, including over 20 years with Centor. Roger is an Associate of The Chartered Insurance Institute and is also responsible for all compliance matters following the advent of FSA regulation of the general insurance industry. Roger is an avid movie buff and still plays amateur football on a weekly basis.

Carly has worked for Centor since 1997 and is responsible for running Centor’s support service functions including HR, Training and IT. She holds the CII certificate in insurance and has been awarded a “Key Employee Commendation” by the Learning Skills Council for her involvement in maintaining our Investors in People accreditation to distinction level. Carly is married with a young son and enjoys travel, horticulture and working on home renovation projects, both at home and in France where she owns a maison de maître.

Mary joined Centor’s Support Services team in 2007, bringing with her a wealth of management secretarial experience, including HR and Health & Safety expertise. Mary, who recently re-located from Cardiff to London, has also worked in the past as a fitness instructor and personal trainer and enjoys keep fit, DIY and the theatre in her spare time.

Oriel has accumulated 20 years commercial insurance experience. She spent her first few years working for the General Accident (now part of the Aviva group) before deciding that a career in broking would best fulfill her client oriented aspirations. She joined Centor in 1999 as account executive in the commercial department and has since then been promoted to Division Manager. She is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and achieved Diploma accreditation in 2006. Outside of work she is busy renovating her home and is an avid wine buff.

Yvette has been working in the insurance industry for over 15 years with a variety of experience in the commercial sector, initially working for one of the UK’s leading insurers, then within the broking sector. Yvette joined Centor in 2003 and looks after a portfolio of large commercial clients, including several national charities. Yvette is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and has gained her Cert CII. Away from the office her interests include live music and world cinema.

Her outside interests include sports, music and reading.

Originally employed by a large provincial broker, Tanya joined Centor in 2007 in order to be closer to heart of the London insurance trading centre. During her time with Centor, Tanya has achieved Chartered Insurance Institute certification. Her main hobbies outside of work include travelling, reading, and theatre.

Richard has worked in the insurance industry for over 25 years and has an extensive knowledge of the UK insurance market. He joined Centor in 2002, following their acquisition of Peter Ruddy & Partners (Insurance Brokers) Ltd, where Richard had worked since 1989. After helping integrate the Peter Ruddy clients within the Centor Group, he joined the Corporate Risks team at the beginning of 2007, applying his experience in assisting our corporate clients with insurance solutions to their UK and global operations. Richard is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute. Away from insurance, Richard enjoys music, travelling overseas, and following the fortunes of both Arsenal and Australian Rules team, West Coast Eagles.

Stewart is an avid football fan and, as a martyr to habitual disappointment, retains a season ticket at Crystal Palace Football Club.

After completing a BA Honours Degree in Geography, Phillip entered the insurance industry to work within a claims environment. After four years in both the public and commercial insurance sectors, he joined Centor in 2007, primarily as a Claims Negotiator, dealing with a wide array of claims. In 2008, Phillip took up an opportunity to join Centor's Property Division, where he is successfully developing his own portfolio of property clients. Outside of work Phillip's interests include music and he is a keen supporter of his home town football club, Southampton FC. |

Michael is also an expert in goods in transit insurance and, as well as being dedicated to a portfolio of private clients, Michael manages a scheme providing transit insurance protection to M.O.D. personnel around the world. His interests outside of work are golf and amateur motor racing, a sport in which he has won several trophies.

In his spare time Yemi enjoys both playing and watching football, and follows the fortunes of both Manchester United and West Ham (at least he is happy 50% of the time!)

His career started with Legal & General and, for the past 27 years, with a national broking organization and its legacy companies where he achieved Associate Director status. His experience includes claims management for multinational client programmes, including delegated authority for major insurers and captives in the commercial and retail sector. David is a keen golfer and still manages to play five a side football.

Sam has been a claims broker for several years, having previously worked in a Lloyd's environment. Sam joined Centor in 2006 to handle a wide spectrum of commercial, property and motor claims, and was promoted to Assistant Claims Manager in 2007. A member of the CII already, Sam is working towards achieving the Insurance Institute Diploma. In 2009, Sam was a finalist in the UK Broker Awards category of Young Broker of the Year. Outside of work Sam is an avid follower of the fortunes (or otherwise) of Tottenham Hotspur, and is a keen live music enthusiast.

Tracey joined Centor in 1992 as an IBA Accounts clerk. After two short periods working away from Centor she has returned once more as Accounts Manager, bringing with her many years of IBA accounts experience. Tracey is part AAT qualified and hopes to achieve the full qualification in the very near future. In her spare time Tracey enjoys music and film, and fundraising for Save The Children.
